Star Trek Teams Up with Doctor Who

I pulled this image off io9’s sci-fi March Madness bracket where they have different famed science fiction franchises go head to head. I swear, people make a bracket for anything this month.

While I have no stake in who wins, (the final four is Doctor Who, Star Trek: TNG, X-Files and the original Star Trek), I did rather like the art they chose for the lead image.

It’s from DeviantArtist Summerset, and shows what it might look like if the Star Trek crew teamed up with the Doctor to fight common enemies. It would be great if this crossover happened in real life, but I can’t really see that occurring with Star Trek all wrapped up in reboot movie mode. Still, cool to see though.
