How Heroic are Your Favorite Video Game Characters Really?
Are video games really just an illusion. Are all of these “heroes” you get to play really that heroic? Think about it. In reality, in Skyrim, you’re a psychotic mass murderer who doesn’t leave any cave fort or ruin until every last living thing inside is dead. And that’s just one example.

First premise is pretty shoddy… in Skyrim you have the option to run from all those scenarios or fight only those who attack you. That’s not “mass murder”
But is that what you actually do?
It didn’t say the player — it said the character.
In games like Skyrim, they’re one and the same.
Then it’s not proper for this premise. You never have to steal, fight anyone human or of the intelligent races, or do anything else awful in the game. You’re expected to in order to proceed in games like Grand Theft Auto and the character you’re portraying has a personality to fit those actions while the character in Skyrim mirrors only what you have them do. It doesn’t belong on the list.
