Here Comes the Brick, All Dressed in Bricks

wedding dress

I’m getting married in a little over a month, and I’m obviously not allowed to see my future wife’s dress before the wedding. Not her in it, not even a picture of it online.

Dear god I hope it’s this one.

It’s high fashion meets LEGO, and was designed by Rie Hosokai, who enjoys making dresses out of weird materials. I’m sure you can’t really move in it, but damn, isn’t it pretty?

It would make for a rather slow wedding night however, as by the time you got brick-by-brick through the thing, it would be morning.

  1. I got married last year. My wife had on the most amazing dress.

And then the wedding night was upon us (also it was 4.30 in the morning and we were drunk)… Which was great, apart from the fact that the dress had about 100 tiny little buttons you had to undo for the back to open, so she could slip out of the dress.

Which is hard during the day, but at night, drunk??

I don’t believe people actually have sex on their wedding night.

Anywho, I hope it all goes well for you. Have been reading this site for a long time, and it feels like growing up with you.

I hope you have the best day of your life (as I did, sounds sappy, but it was amazing). And one little piece of advice, every once in a while on the day, just stop and look around. Look at the people, the place and everything around you. Everything goes by so quickly, it is harder to do than you think.

    Long rambling comment anyone?
