Facts You Might Not Know about Finding Nemo
Not sure if you guys are aware that Finding Nemo 3D is out right now but in case you want to give it a whirl I just wanted to let you know that it’s out there. But on to what the task at hand is. Finding Nemo was one of if not my favorite animated films and it’s clearly one of the more successful animate franchises out there right now.
And with all successful films there are oodles and oodles of facts about the movies you probably didn’t know. That’s where these little tidbits come in.
Check out these crazy facts about the movie you didn’t know…

While this is an interesting collection of facts, Finding Nemo is probably my least favorite Pixar film, and perhaps my least favorite CG film from all CG animation studios. The story is unoriginal and horribly predictable, not to mention sappy and excessivly “for children”. There’s little or nothing to keep anyone over the age of 7 interested past the first 5 minutes. The CG work isn’t even Pixar’s best by any means. (Wall-E is #1 in my book.)
The saddening fact that this is the best selling DVD of all time only serves as proof positive that most consumers have poor taste and absurdly low standards.
Well see, I thought Wall-E was horrifically boring. Two hours of two robots saying Walle and Evie to each other. I thought Finding Nemo was excellent.
It being the best selling DVD of all time doesn’t prove anything about consumers. It’s subjective. It does prove you’re somewhat elitist though.
You thought Wall-E was boring!?
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!
Wall-E is the greatest animated movie of all time, and I think it’s going to be a long, LONG time before we see another one as good.
Finding Nemo was pretty good, though.
I’m with you, Splinterheart, never enjoyed Nemo at all. Too childish and ADD. I forget it’s pixar sometimes, it seems so very…dreamworks (shudder).
“Wall-E” and “Nemo” were myeh.
When Pixar makes a movie as good as “My Neighbor Totoro”, then we can talk about “the greatest animated movie of all time”.
