I’ve seen Star Wars warped and modified in every way possible, but I don’t think I’ve seen it turned into a 1980s anime until now. In the vein of Dragonball Z, Voltron and others, here’s what Empire Strikes Back would have looked like in the format.
Highlights include Luke’s lightsaber arm, a Death Star shooting Rancors, and an X-Wing and Millennium Falcon hybrid mech. Lets hope that makes it into Star Wars Episode VII.
