China Developing an Unlicensed Warcraft and Starcraft Theme Park
So it’s no secret that the Chinese are notorious for knocking off products from all over the world, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it on this level before.
Take a look at Joyland World, the unlicensed Warcraft/Starcraft theme park currently being built in China. Don’t get me wrong, the idea sounds awesome, and I would love to walk around in a landscape inspired by those two awesome series, but I have a hunch there’s going to be some serious lawsuits before this thing opens.
Check out the concept art below, and prepare to Zerg rush to the front of the rollercoaster line if this thing ever actually opens.

The best part is that they’re building it with our money.
If they get away with ripping off all sorts of other things why do you think there will be law suits over this?
I do not believe this for one second.
This place would be zerg rushed on its opening day
This is so awesome. Though, I agree with riot here, seems unlikely that this will ever happen. As a Zerg player, I’m already thrilling at what creep would look like.
Do you still play starcraft 2 regularly Paul? What league are you in?
@Mortecouille
Yeah I do, I suck though. I’m Gold league all the way, occasionally dabbling in Platinum. I think I’ve played Zerg twice ever. I split pretty evenly between Toss and Terran.
After this opens there will be no place in the world that smells more like human body odor…
@Paul
Cool, so am I. I’m struggling to get to platinum in 1v1 though. That would be cool if we could play once or twice. Not sure that this possible due to the ~6 hours or so time difference between the US and France. Bah, let me know.
