An Awesome Gallery of Hermetic Art by Alex Andreev
I’m not really how to describe what Hermetic art is. It’s a concept that Alex Andreev has created and all I know is that it’s incredibly awesome looking. From what I understand Alex first draws in pencil and ink. He then uses Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop to create these other “worldly” type pictures.
Hermetic itself means “The Science or art of Divine Works.” I’m not 100% sure what is divine about these works but there is this calming presence about them. And when you put things in mid air like that it could be considered “divine” I suppose.
All I know is that this work is very cool and worthy of being on this site so enjoy the gallery…..
It’s almost scary in a way. I can’t help but think this is how animation should look. Very clear. Almost real. I love this stuff.
