Amazing 8K 360 Video of Lunar Eclipse with Northern Lights

Who doesn’t enjoy watching the lunar eclipse or the Northern Lights? Now imagine what would happen if you’re lucky enough to catch both of them at the same time. That is precisely what videographer William Briscoe managed to do during the early morning hours of January 31st, 2018 in Fairbanks, Alaska.

In reality, you have to see the video in order to believe it. There are simply no words to describe the beauty and the majesty that is captured in this video. Utilizing the latest advancements in technology, Briscoe shot the video with 8K 360 video, capturing both the lunar eclipse of the super blue moon along with the Aurora Borealis. These two natural phenomena worked together to create something that very few people are blessed enough to see. Thanks to Briscoe and his work, everyone that can operate a computer has an opportunity to view it for themselves.

Remember, this is a technology that has only become available fairly recently. Just a few years ago, it would have been all but impossible to capture this type of video. The thing that really makes the video interesting is that Briscoe captured it in a form of time-lapse videography that allows each viewer to adjust the angle on the video from moment to moment. While this might sound confusing, the end result is quite simple. It gives you as the viewer an opportunity to watch a new video from a different angle every time. In other words, if you decide to watch this video 20 times and you adjust the angle each time, you will effectively see 20 different videos. This gives you the opportunity to see every detail as if you were actually seeing it for yourself with your own eyes.

This type of technology brings every viewer directly to the event. Whether you can physically be there or not no longer seems to matter as much as it used to. By utilizing the technology that Briscoe used, it’s possible for viewers to see things in a way that they’ve never seen them before. In reality, this even gives you a chance to see things more clearly than if you were there to see it with the naked eye as it actually happened. The truth is, you will never see the exact same video, no matter how many times you watch this. The thing that makes it better than actually seeing the event first hand is that you can go back and watch it again and again, adjusting the angle as you choose in order to get a different viewpoint each and every time.

There is no doubt that this type of technology will continue to be used more and more frequently as advancements allow. For the first time in history, it’s possible for people to see things in even greater detail than they would see them if they were actually there to witness them. This is important because it gives people that could not otherwise experience these types of events an opportunity to do exactly that. It brings the entire world right into your living room. In that way, it gives you the chance to learn more about the world you live in, no matter where you are. If you really want to know how spectacular this type of technology is, click on the link below and look at the video for yourself. You won’t believe what you see.
