A Surprisingly Touching Rendition of Coldplay’s “Fix You” By a Random Call of Duty Player
Normally behavior in a game of Call of Duty is to immediately mute everyone in your lobby other than those you’re on party chat with. One player though that he should do just that when one of his teammates broke out in song during a match. But he didn’t.
The result? The kid sang through the entirety of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” and afterward, the other player was so moved her recorded the whole sequence and set it to music. At the end, you realize the kid didn’t even know his mic was on.
It’s not the best singing, but it ends up being…surprisingly touching somehow, perhaps the effect of the already rousing song being amplified by the death and destruction onscreen. Watch for yourself, and stay till the end.
