10 Awesome Music Videos Directed by the Incomparable Spike Jonze
Many movie fans know who Spike Jonze is, but he’s hardly a household name. After Where the Wild Things Are is released, though, I’m guessing that Jonze’s popularity will skyrocket. Jonze is a more than capable film director – see Being John Malkovich, for example – and like other talented film directors, he’s directed his fair share of music videos. Jonze has a style that defies classification and just about all of his music videos are “fun” to watch.
I expect big things from Where the Wild Things Are, but for a glimpse of Jonze’s talent, all you need to do is check out some of his music videos. After the jump, enjoy 10 awesome music videos directed by the incomparable Spike Jonze. I’m sure you’ll recognize at least a few of them.

Who would have thought that Christopher Walken was a classically trained dancer? lol
@ Josh
No kidding. I can pretty much watch Walken do anything, though.
Walken is the man. Deer Hunter is on right now, and man he looked so young then! And Di Niro, too.
I never get sick of the Buddy Holly video
Some classics here, but I think my fave Spike Jonze vid is Daft Punk “Da Funk”. The human/dog guy with the radio is so fuckin weird…and the story is so tragic.
@ Lauren
Meant to post that one – it’s great. Unfortunately, I couldn’t embed it.
