This Week in Movie Trailers!

Hey everyone! Welcome, once again, to This Week in Movie Trailers!

This week features a few films that we looked at on prior Fridays, but they are back with new trailers. Since it has been a bit slow week for releases, I decided that it would be OK. That being said, we have a few biggies making their debut: The sequels to Anchorman and Captain America, both of which look excellent! So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get to it!

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

I love Will Ferrell. There’s just something about him that makes me laugh just looking at him; not that he’s an unattractive man or anything (maybe he is, I don’t know! Can you weigh in on this, ladies?). That being said, this sequel looks incredibly funny and entertaining. Will I be seeing this in theatres? Well, as the old saying goes: Yup.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Well, here’s the biggy for this week! I wasn’t too big of a fan of the first Captain America film; it was just a bit underwhelming and nowhere near as fun compared to Ironman and Thor. This one, however, looks a lot better. Then again, you can say that about a lot of movies based on trailers and then they fall flat! Who knows! But I have hope; even if I just base it off of his much, much cooler looking costume (he looked ridiculous in The Avengers). I will definitely be checking this one out.

Homefront

This new Red Band trailer makes me even more excited for this film. James Franco looks and sounds amazing in this new bad guy role of his! I still can’t help be to be charmed by that dude, even if he’s a scumbag killer.

Here’s another trailer #2 on the list. There’s not much else to say about it except that it still looks terrific and that Zach Efron plays the douchebag frat-asshole a bit TOO perfectly.

Here comes the Devil

This has been released at film festivals for a while now, but it only has recently been given a wide-release and also a digital download. I’ve been waiting for a trailer for quite some time now, and I just happened to stumble upon it while checking out the Apple movie trailers site. It looks great and also terrifying, which is a perfect combination!

What are you looking forward to the most?
