The Order of X: Medieval X-Men

From artist Nate Hallinan comes a new project that transports the X-Men back into medieval times to form”The Order of X.” Though much of it is giving medieval costumes and names to existing characters (Lady Grey, Wolverune), it also features Beast as a blue bear. WHICH IS AWESOME.

Hallinan has finished prints and also concept sketches of all the characters in the series. He’s almost done with the prints, but there are still a few more to go, and you can see all the total work he’s done so far in the gallery below.

At the rate things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw this as a new X-Men movie two or three X-films from now.
