The Evolution of Apple in Photos
This is the 1976 Apple I
As you might have noticed we have somewhat strayed from doing too much coverage of the death of Steve Jobs. We are a blog that is highly opinionated and we’d rather that coverage go to major news outlets. Don’t get me wrong. We certainly respect Jobs and honor him. It’s just that as far as reporting goes, it’s not really what we do.
However, what I was amazed at is something that CBS News covered. They ran a piece on the evolution of Apple and all the amazing work that Jobs was a part of, and really was the lead man of.
And when you see it in picture form like we have presented you can really get a feel for how amazing this stuff is. I mean you see designs from the 70s that saw right into the future. Anyway, here’s a 45 picture phototorial of Apple from the 70s until now…..

What a jump in styling from 1997 to 1998. That got me curious about when Jobs was brought back to the company so I looked it up: 1997. Well that explains it then.
my old grade school used to use the Macintosh LC 575 almost 10 years after it came out, those things sucked lol
I still use my first gen iPod shuffle its the easiest shuffle, USB right on it, I have no idea whose idea it was to take off the biggest connivence in the next design
The Macintosh LC 575 was the first computer I ever saw when I went to Venice Heights Elementary and also the Sandusky Library in Sandusky, OH. Also, did anyone else ever get the feeling that the iMac G3’s mouse is a colorfully disguised OREO. Wierd how I still get that feeling.
