The Dreary Side of Superhero Life

The life of a superhero isn’t always as glamorous as it seems, as pointed out in this art series from William Wray. Here, he shows heroes smoking on the sidewalk, lamenting they can’t get into a Broadway show, or filling out paperwork at the DMV. And Supergirl is either shaving her legs on the street, or shooting heroin into them, I’m not sure which.

This actually reminds me of those guys who dress up like superheroes on the streets of NY and LA so tourists spend $5 to get their pictures taken with them. That might actually be what this is based on, as the varying body types imply these aren’t supposed to be the ACTUAL heroes in questions. See the rest for yourself below:
