Five Entertaining Slow Motion Video Game Deaths
I’m not here to preach about the correlation of video game violence to real world violence. What I can say is that the surge of violence and death in video games is pretty significant. And if I had to take a guess it’s something that won’t be going away anytime soon.
It’s in our nature to be violent so it’s no surprise that legions of gamers out there get off on this stuff. So much so that they’re recording deaths they perform in their video game trials, setting these deaths to their own soundtracks, editing them, and posting the video footage on Youtube.
Now, whether these crazy kids get out there and actually kill people is a mystery but it still doesn’t change the fact that these videos are pretty disturbing.

It’s too bad the Reservoir Dogs game was received so poorly. I personally love the thought of a game based on an older film where the developers aren’t adhering to the same time and budget restrictions as your standard movie tie-in warrants. Example: The Warriors for Xbox and PS2 a few years back was fantastic.
whoa. no don’t get me wrong, I love GTA4, but the fact that there are guys that go around shooting civilians and watching them die in slow motion is really disturbing. I couldn’t watch past the point where he shotguns the old lady in the face then puts the text “LOL” on the screen. I was not laughing at all.
Soo.. You’re trying to say that a video of slowmo headshots is disturbing, but a video of slowmo headshots set to good music is awesome?
I think that any kill shot in Fallout 3 is amazing.

I have to concur about Fallout 3, as annoying as that airhorn sound is when killing in V.A.T.S. is, it is scenematic joy.
I agree with the above 2 posters, and i was surprised that there was no VATS kill in this article. I don’t really get why enemies’ legs and arms fall off when you shoot them in the head, though.
