Skyrim Versus Real Life
Skyrim is literally a black hole. As you approach the event horizon, as you become closer to the game, time begins to crawl to a stop for you even though everyone you know and love is aging and passing you by. Once you’ve crossed the threshold, once you’ve created your first character, you are DONE. Your life is over, at least the life that your loved ones knew. You’re still, technically, alive in a new reality, but you’ve left your previous one never to see it again. This is the price each of us must pay in order to experience this game……
