Hugh Jackman is an Aging Wolverine in Official Logan Trailer

All I can say is that I’m praying as I always do with Marvel films. Please oh God let “Logan” be as good as the official trailer that came out today. Please oh please don’t let this be a tease and you’re really just showing us the ONLY good parts from the actual movie that we’re going to pay good money to see. Please, just please let this be a decent film and let Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine go out in style. Please.

For those of you who don’t know Logan is set in 2024 and Wolverine is an aging and diminishing mutant whose powers aren’t nearly what they used to be. Is it me or is 2024 WAY too close here? Patrick Stewart is back as a much older Charles Xavier and Stephen Merchant is involved as Caliban, a mutant whose power is locating other mutants.

While Caliban appears in X-Men Apocalypse it appears he’ll have a much bigger role in this one. Directed by James Mangold, it’s set to come out March 3, 2017.
