Look at What This Guy Found: An Ancient Mew

Actually turns out there’s a back story to these ancient Mew cards and it has something to do with the Pokemon movie:

When i went to see the pokemon movie it was at a small single screen movie theater in the rain on a weekday, nobody was there me and a friend had the place to ourselves. The guy behind the counter just gave us a handful of ancient mew cards each. I still have like 5-6 of them somewhere still in the wrapping foil.

Same thing happened to me. Some friends and I went early to try and make sure we got our card, then were the only ones there. I think we got roughly 20-30 mews each.

Have any of you experienced the same thing?
