Just Another Day in a Little Pokemon Town

I don’t think that a more mature audience would give the same kid of response town anime as one targeted at kids. I mean, we got Pokemon: Origins, which was an awesome nod to those that started tier journey in Kanto, but considering how there’s no real way to interact with Pokemon in any form like the pictures OP posted (unlike the current anime where battles are a key part of the games and show) it wouldn’t do them many favours on a marketing standpoint. Although, if we did get a slice if life game inspired by Pokemon, then an idea like this would be beyond perfect.
