How The Names of Some Video Games Came To Be

A few weeks back our man Paul wrote an article about how Unreality got its name and it reminded me that the stories behind popular names of brands or products can tend to be pretty cool.   From as minimal as the kind of jam your grandmother used to make (Pearl Jam) to a bungee jumping story, it’s cool to find out the original from where certain things were named.

Speaking of which, how about video games?  Below you’ll find the stories of how some classic video games were named.  Enjoy!

Thanks to Mentalfloss for these amazing stories.  Click on the pics for full size if you can’t read the text.
