10 Things You Need to Know about Code Vein

What do you know about Code Vein? Have you even heard of it before? If you’re into gaming, there is no doubt that you are familiar with the title, even if you haven’t had the chance to play it yet. Although this is a game that has not yet been released, there has been a lot of excitement about it so if you want to know more, here are ten things about it that you might not know.

1. It hasn’t actually been released yet

If you plan on running to the store and looking for this title, you will only succeed in driving yourself crazy because you won’t find it. As a matter of fact, it hasn’t yet been released so you might as well be prepared to wait until sometime next year. At the moment, there isn’t a lot more information available for that so it’s not even yet known exactly what part of the year the game will be released in.

2. It will be for a number of different platforms

When it finally does come along, you’ll be able to enjoy playing it on your PC as long as you have a Windows operating system, not to mention PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, you might be able to find it on additional platforms later on but in the meantime, you still have quite a few options available to you.

3. It’s all about vampires

These days, people seem to love stories about vampires, ghosts or anything about the paranormal. That’s one reason that this story immediately becomes appealing to so many people. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic world and calling it a dystopian society would be a gross understatement. It’s definitely enough to keep your interest, even if you do have to wait a while to see it for yourself.

4. You can play by yourself or with others

There are a lot of things that make this game unique but one of the best things about it is that you can play together with your friends or you can play all by yourself. It doesn’t matter how many people you have around you or if you’re just chilling out on an afternoon with no one else around, you can still enjoy the game no matter what.

5. You can play different roles, too

Since it’s a role playing game, you always have the opportunity to play different roles. Obviously, this goes a long way in preventing the game from feeling stale, even after you have played it a number of times.

6. Its inspiration came from another popular game

When you finally have the chance to play the game, it might seem a little bit familiar to you. If it does, that’s probably because its inspiration came from another wildly popular game that’s quite similar called Dark Souls. Rest assured, you should not assume that one is just like the other but there are enough similarities to make you recognize that one was inspired by the other. In addition, if you’re already a fan of Dark Souls, that just means that you’re that much more likely to be a fan of this game when it’s finally released.

7. It’s being handled by a popular company

The company responsible for its release is Bandai Namco Entertainment. This is a corporation that has released a number of popular titles, so you know that the outcome of the game is in good hands.

8. Fans have been waiting for it for awhile now

It was first announced that the game would eventually be developed and released back in April of 2017. Since then, fans have been anxiously awaiting the very day when it would be released and they could get their hands on a copy for themselves. For anyone that’s been anxiously awaiting the day, it seems like it’s been a very long time now.

9. It was supposed to have been released three months ago

It was actually supposed to have been released this past September but there were issues of one type or another and the release date was ultimately pushed back. Now, it’s set for sometime next year, as previously mentioned.

10. The reason for the delay has not been widely publicized

So far, there haven’t been a lot of reports about exactly why the release date was pushed back. That leaves fans wondering exactly what happened that caused the problem. Perhaps that information will be more forthcoming in the future but for now, it isn’t happening.
