Bjorn Hurri’s Steampunk Star Wars
So we’ve seen a decent amount of Steampunk Star Wars visions before, but none by someone named Bjorn Hurri, who with that name is more qualified to do steampunk than anyone else. It just fits.
Anyway, he has an ongoing work-in-progress collection of Star Wars characters rendered in this style which you can see above and below. His Leia is quite cute, but he’s also got Boba Fett, C-3P0, Yoda, Jabba, Jawas and a Stormtrooper on deck.
Check out the rest of his (her?) work below:
The Stormtrooper just looks like the artist has been playing too much Fallout 3.
Leia looks pretty awesome, but who’s 3CPO?
Part of me wishes this is what the actual Star Wars characters were like. George Lucas makes everything so fluffy and kid-friendly. The whole series could use a darker, uglier, more intense reboot.
Good catch Drester.
all very cool but Jabba doesn’t look that well so humanized
its look like
Cool. But Jabba is the Hutt, not the Hut. Two t’s.

It’s a guy. And I’d bet Finnish… Bjorn being a Swedish male name, hurri a Finnish slang word for a swede…
The 3rd robot is just mechanically awesome.
I am a fan of Starwars and thus I like this post. This is just awesome
This is going to rock and I am sure of this. The robot look cool.
