A Wicked Cool Musical Fight Scene Compilation
For all its criticism of being a “Michael Bay blockbuster,” I did rather like the second half of Man of Steel where the beast was unleashed and we got a full-on Kryptonian slugfest.
Perhaps I’m biased because I love a good fight scene in any movie, superpowered or not, and therefore this video strikes close to my heart. It’s a very well edited montage of some of the most famous movie fight scenes in history, set to a kickass soundtrack to boot.
Obviously, it can’t capture them all, but I was impressed with the breadth and the depth of what was features, as well as how it was synced to the music. Not every montage needs a dubstep or Kanye West background these days.
That was pretty dam awesome.
Yeah, I’m definitely in that awesome part of Youtube again. Godzilla and Hulk were the highlights for me. Very unexpected, but very welcome. I loved it when they timed the punches to the drums, too. The pummel-fest during the finale was damn inspired. 10/10, would rock again.
That’s the kind of video that make me wonder if i’m not watching movie a bit too much… I would have to only watch harry potter, the original godzila, and one or two Asians movie (maybe one is ong bak, but i’m not sure) to have seen every movie used in that video.
That was a pretty awesome video, but to be fair, Kickstart My Heart makes everything better.
