A Glimpse of the Upcoming Scorsese Tribute Art Show
Martin Scorsese has a been a hero to many in his long career, so it’s no surprise to hear he’s inspired an entire art show dedicated to this life’s work. It’s this Friday at Bold Hype Gallery in Manhattan, but ahead of that, you can check out some of the art here.
All manner of artists have come together to pay tribute to the man, but more pressingly, his films. The artists have each taken a look at some of his more famous works, or all of them together as you see here. Gangs of New York’s Bill the Butcher gets a lot of love specifically. He really was a great character that was better than that movie.
Check out the art below and head to the show if you live in NYC.
Really awkward positioning if “Le Voyage dans la Lune”.
