This Week in Movie Trailers!
Hey guys! Welcome to This Week in Movie Trailers!
It’s Christmas next week! I’m pumped. Also, because of traveling and such, there won’t be a This Week in Movie Trailers next Friday, so this is the last one of 2013! Can you believe how fast this year went? Jeez.
So, has anyone watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug yet? I did last weekend and I thought it was fantastic. I highly recommend that you go see it if you haven’t already! Evangeline Lilly was quite a presence, and by far my favorite character in the series as she definitely brought a lot of the heart that the film needed.
OK! We have a ton of trailers to get through this week, so let’s get on with it!
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Awesome; will be checking this out for sure! I reeeeally hope this sequel isn’t a letdown.
The Expendables 3
Blended
What the heck was up with that first scene? Haha. Anyway, let me tell you what’s going to happen so you don’t have to waste your time with this movie: Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler end up together in the end after going through various “hilariously charming” romps throughout this film.
Grand Piano
Hahahahah! Make sure you don’t play under 50 miles per hour, Elijah!
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
The first film in this series was a pleasant surprise and I am looking forward to this one! Where’s Franco, though? L
22 Jump Street
I thoroughly enjoyed the first one and thus I am looking forward to watching that ridiculousness again. That said, there’s no way to tell if this sequel will be good or bad. There is one thing that bothered me though: The blond girl in the trailer says “You look old as shit to be here.” Is she blind? I work on a university campus and the age range for students is, literally, anywhere from 18 to 75.
The Square
This looks fantastic. I also find it neat and encouraging that Netflix is now getting involved with productions like this. Love it. Netflix is great for the industry.
Interstellar
So, I guess it’s safe to say that this might be the most anticipated film of the bunch? Maybe? A lot of people were complaining how this was a stupid, lazy teaser trailer because it was just stock footage for the most part. Whatever, I liked it. It was poignant and mysterious, which is what a teaser should be. Who cares what kind of footage was shown and why does it matter, anyway?
Justin Bieber’s Believe
Thought I would throw this one in for thaaa laaaaadies. MERRY CHRISTMAS
