2. It Was Made Possible By Hyrule Warriors Legends
Fire Emblem Warriors wasn’t the first collaboration between Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. Instead, that would be Hyrule Warriors, which was based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. 5. There Is Indeed an Anna
Of course, there is an Anna in Fire Emblem Warriors. This Anna is stated to be an original Anna, but she draws a fair amount of inspiration from the Anna who showed up in Fire Emblem Fates, as shown by her look, her personality, and her sometimes dubious business practices. Speaking of which, it should be mentioned that Anna is a playable character as well.
6. Can Switch Between Chosen Characters
One of Fire Emblem Warriors’s more interesting features is that it is possible to switch between chosen characters in the middle of maps. This isn’t a new feature, seeing as how it has shown up in Samurai Warriors Chronicles. However, it is nonetheless something that brings Fire Emblem Warriors closer to the Fire Emblem side of its heritage.
7. Can Issue Rudimentary Orders
On a related note, it is possible to issue rudimentary orders to allies in Fire Emblem Warriors, which is another feature that isn’t wholly unprecedented but nonetheless brings it closer to Fire Emblem. 8. The Weapon Triangle Is In
Fire Emblem is famous for its weapon triangle, which has made it into Fire Emblem Warriors as well. In short, swords are beaten by spears, which are beaten by axes, which are beaten by swords. There can be complexities to this system, with excellent examples ranging from weapons such as tomes that fall outside of the system to special swords, spears, and axes that don’t behave in the typical manner. However, it should be mentioned that the system has nothing been absolute because it is but one important factor among many.
9. No Mounts in the Traditional Sense
Both Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors have horses, which provide players with a faster way to travel across the landscape.
