Welcome to the Rock
More art from LA’s Hero Complex Gallery, this one by Patrick Connan. It’s been a long, long while since I first laid eyes on the awesomeness of The Rock, the movie, not the man (I follow him on Twitter and see his awesomeness all the time).
I absolutely love Connan’s poster here, and there’s a red/yellow/orange tinted variant below. Can an artist tell me why people often made two colored variants of prints like this? I see this all the time. Is it just diversity of choice for potential print-buyers?
Presumably it feeds their status as collector’s items. I’m a little cynical about it, to tell the truth.
