That Guy Actor of the Week: Chris Sarandon
It’s not often we put an Oscar nominated actor on this site but would you really know Chris Sarandon by name if you saw him? No offense to Chris but I sure wouldn’t. Besides it was in 1975 when Chris was nominated for supporting role in the movie Dog Day Afternoon. However I’m quite certain that if any of you recognize Chris out there, it’s for his portrayal of Prince Humperdinck in The Princess Bride.
If you tally it up, Sarandon has 97 titles to his name on IMDB so he’s close to the century mark. Sarandon definitely has a snarky quality to him and should never have a problem finding the role of a guy who people are very skeptical of. He just seems like a d*ck you know?
Anyway, a clip of Sarandon……
This is him on Dog Day Afternoon.
Don’t forget that he was the speaking voice for Jack Skellington!
