Only Blade Runner Forgives

I’ve heard nothing but unspeakably awful things about Only God Forgives, which is a bummer considering it reunited Ryan Gosling with his Drive director, but the trailer was pretty damn cool

Cool enough to be emulated by a much better film, it seems. This is Blade Runner, recut in the style of Only God Forgives. Both are dark and violent and have a lot of neon, so I suppose the connection is there, however tenuous.

It’s been so long I can’t remember if that song is from Blade Runner or Only God Forgives, but it’s rockin’.

I think I'm a part of the first generation of journalists to skip print media entirely, and I've learned a lot these last few years at Forbes. My work has appeared on TVOvermind, IGN, and most importantly, a segment on The Colbert Report at one point.
