I guess Nat B must not be a Pokémon OG, otherwise he would know that in the original Red and Blue versions and the special edition Yellow version, there were no rematches (with the exception of the Elite Four) so bug catchers and the like really would just stand there forever with their fainted pokémon never to regain consciousness.
