Hot Fuzz Meets Final Fight

I’m going to hold out hope that The World’s End is going to be one of the better movies in an otherwise terrible summer season, and a worthy conclusion to the Cornetto trilogy of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Shaun usually gets all the attention, but Hot Fuzz is a fantastic film as well.

Artist Aled Lewis decided to make a pixel perfect representation of the movie as a 16 bit game like 1989’s Final Fight. The climactic fight scene of the film would seem to be perfect for such a project, and I love the sheer amount of detail hidden in the piece. You’ll have to zoom in to find all the little items you’ll miss from afar.

Please be good ,World’s End, you’re my only hope.
