A Shockingly Good The Last of Us Fan Film

Even though working on the internet for a living has given me the attention span of a goldfish, I was able to sit down and watch the entirety of this twelve minute The Last of Us fan film because it’s that damn good.

I’ve seen some decent tribute and fan films in my day, but this is far and away one of the most accurate to the source material I’ve ever seen. The casting of Joel and Ellie is spot on, as is the acting, as is the filming, the sound, pretty much everything.

It covers a likely scenario from the game, Joel murdering a bunch of bandits, though it does seem to be loosely based around the one part where (incredibly minor spoilers) Ellie has to save your ass by shooting a guy. Love the details like using her exact lines of dialogue from the game, brick-throwing, pretty much everything.
