A Gotham Fairy Tale
This is a pretty incredible animation project from Maurico Abril, who spent a zillion years drawing up 200 separate black and white pieces and strung them together to create a Batman story called “A Gotham Fairy Tale.”
It’s not the most complex Batman story in the world. After all, there’s only 200 frames to tell it. A little girl is told a story about how Batman once saved a different little girl. She was kidnapped by the Joker, who used her to lure Batman into a trap.
The whole thing is set to Muse’s Knight of Cydonia, which is a perfect compliment to the animation in my opinion. Check it out for yourself above.
