20-Foot Statue of a Panda Wearing an Iron Man Suit
Here’s something you don’t see every day: a 20-foot statue of a panda wearing an Iron Man suit in a Hong Kong mall.
Currently towering over Hong Kong shoppers—and ready for some hardcore Kung Fu—is the six-metre-tall “Iron Panda,” an installation by Beijing artist Bi Heng, at the K11 art mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong as part of the K11 Art Foundation’s “Art Nova 100”, a collaboration with Art Basel, showcasing the works of 100 emerging Asian artists. About 70 are on show at the mall until July 6.
