The Five Most Common Things People are Saying About “Sea of Thieves”
Have you played the game Sea of Thieves yet? Most people have managed to get their hands on a copy and for the most part, good things are being said about it. However, it never hurts to find out some things that you might not know, even if you’ve played it a few times. Below are five things that people seem to be saying the most about the game. If you read these tips, you might even figure out how to make it to the next level.
1. Bananas galore
In the game, you can collect bananas and that helps you stay healthy and keep going longer. A lot of times, you end up finding yourself underwater in search of treasure and the longer you stay underwater, the more your health deteriorates. Did you know that by merely eating bananas while you’re underwater, you can prevent this? This effectively gives you the chance to stay underwater and find that treasure for as long as you need to. It’s one way to advance to the next level, especially if you find yourself stuck again and again when going under water.
2. You don’t have to wait to use weapons
Most games make you play with virtually nothing to defend yourself until you earn certain weapons as you go along. This game is different. You have plenty of weapons available to you from the very beginning. All you have to do is use them. In order to do that, simply go to your arsenal and choose the weapon that you want to use. At least the developers of the game are giving you a fair shake so that you might be able to advance through the levels in less time.
3. Hold down the attack button
Some people seem to be getting hung up when it comes to attacking their foes. If you hold down the attack button, you can come running and jumping at them in such a way that you can take out an entire group of people at one time. All you really need to do is make sure that you’re aimed in the right direction so you don’t miss hitting them and then hold the button down. It can help you get through the game a lot faster and it can also prevent you from getting stuck on one particular level for a long time.
4. Handling the Kraken
What good would it game be to have a game that takes place on the ocean without the Kraken as a villain? A lot of people are absolutely terrified that they’re going to run up on this thing while they’re trying to collect treasure, find an animal, or complete some other endeavor. Fortunately, the game developers made the Kraken a fierce foe that only appears once you’ve gotten through several levels. In fact, it doesn’t really attack smaller ships so unless you have a galleon, you don’t really need to pay any attention to the possibility that one could show up with little or no warning. Instead, just focus on what you’re doing and worry about the Kraken later on.
5. Just say no to strangers
Even if you’ve only played the game a couple of times, you probably noticed the guy in the tavern that keeps saying things to you that don’t really seem to make sense. Everything is a riddle with this guy. In fact, once you get through the fifth level, he tells you that you need to come back and see him when you reach the 10th level, making you think that he’s going to tell you some big secret. The only thing he ends up doing is giving you another verse of gibberish that makes no sense and then he tells you to come back once you hit level 15. You’re better off ignoring him and handling things yourself.
