How Addicted to your Computer are You?

Computer Addiction

Hey let’s face it, when I’m away from my computer for more than 24 hours I’m generally going through some kind of withdrawal.  I tend to get moody, snap at my wife, and do anything I can to get my ass to the nearest laptop, desktop, iTouch, you name it.

It’s simply the world we live in and given that an increasing amount of people make their livings working from home (and obviously with a computer) we will continue to see a rise in computer dependence as well as computer addictions.

I’ll bet you that within the next 10 years support groups for computer addiction (which already exist) will become mainstream.  But no matter how much I depend on my computer, I highly doubt I’ll be like the people in these pictures

  1. I kind of like being away from my computer, phone, etc., and generally being out of touch. It’s gotta be a generational thing. I didn’t need a computer or cell phone in high school, and I got along just fine back then.
