It’s a great choice for anyone who enjoys heading to the dungeons with their pals to see what they can find and tackle some challenging foes. It’s one of the better alternatives for taking a break from the intensity of “Path of Exile,” to help you come back with a fresh perspective.

4. Diablo 3

“Diablo 3 is more of a casual ARPG that offers an excellent alternative to “Path to Exile.” The main focus of players in this game is Greater Rifts and collecting and building the best possible gear. It’s not quite as intricate with the progression systems which makes it easier to relax and focus on the gear. It offers you a bit of repose so you can kick back and just enjoy playing while you recover from the burnout of playing “Path of Exile.” Don’t plan on taking it too easy though. Diable 3 is loaded with hack and slash action. The role-playing game gives you a choice of characters and you’ll have your hands full equipping your character to survive the onslaught from your enemies. This is the third installment of the franchise and Blizzard Entertainment has had plenty of time to work out the kinks.

3. Last Epoch

“Last Epoch” is an early access game that is a little different in its structure, but it has similarities to “Path of Exile” that you might find enjoyable. It offers a skill tree system that sets it apart from the rest, with skills that have their own augment trees. This gives you the ability to maximize your customization by cutting through the bloat and going for the enhancements that you truly desire. It’s so in-depth that you’ll appreciate this straightforward aspect of the game. The best way to describe this game is to compare it to a hybrid between the customization you get in “Path of Exile” and the gameplay of “Diablo 3.” It’s a time travel-action genre RPC that involves a quest to save Eterra from The Void while battling Gods and coming face to face with dark empires.

2. Torchlight 2

“Torchlight 2” is a video game in the action role-plays dungeon genre. It is put out by Runic Games. It became available for Microsoft Windows in the Fall of 2012, and the sequel is a second installment that allows peer to peer multiplayer support. One of the best things about the game is that the modding capabilities are extensive, which leads to some cool customization. While it offers just four classes of character builds to choose from, the extensive mods give you more than enough compensation for that. “Torchlight 2” is a casual ARPG that gives you the luxury of playing with your friends to make the game even more exciting. A few of the high points are the colorful art style and the graphic gore of combat. If you liked the endgame of “Path of Exile,” you’re probably going to love “Torchlight 2.” You’ll find that there are some marked similarities to the mapping systems, although the Atlas is missing. “Torchlight 2” is an excellent alternative to both “Diablo 3” and “Path of Exile,” while keeping you in the same genre of gameplay. Sometimes it’s good to take a break from your favorite games so you don’t reach the level of burnout.

1. Warframe

Players can use certain items to turn complete armies into particle dust. This makes it essential to obtain the powerful Nova weapon that can accomplish this amazing feat. You can freeze time with Limo, or use Atlas to decimate your enemies. There are some intense features associated with this game that gives you an intense sense of satisfaction, but it’s not as in-depth when it comes to the endgame, so be warned. However, it’s a free game so it won’t cost you anything to try the fast-paced game.
