10 Songs/Sounds From NES Games That Will Be in Your Head the Rest of the Week

Rad Racer Sunset Coastline

You see that’s what Nintendo was all about back in the good old days.  It wasn’t necessarily about the graphics.  It wasn’t about the amazing controls and “real life” similarities.  The 8-Bit Nintendo was all about the fun.  And part of that fun were the amazing theme songs and even sound effects that would stay with us for hours, even days after playing. And I’m not even saying that all these songs are good.  I’m simply saying that after you hear them?  There’s absolutely no chance that they won’t be stuck in your head for at least a week.

Here are 10 songs and sounds that you’ll soon once again be addicted to

Duck Hunt Kill Sound

You know the sound.  It comes right after you make a kill.

Theme Song from Double Dragon

I wish there was a way to put the song into words.  However, I’m pretty sure you all recognize this theme.  And now it’s going to be in your head for the rest of the day.

Excite Bike Theme Song

So bouncy!

Fighting Music from Mike Tyson’s Punch Out

I’m so motivated now!

Legend of Zelda Overworld Theme

Anyone who doesn’t know this song leads a VERY sheltered life.

Oh you’ll definitely know the part that will not get out of your head.  It’s very obvious.  Essentially it’s what the chorus would be in any main song.
