I’m not sure the original artist intended his picture to be interpreted an amalgam of the N64 game and Roald Dahl, but that’s just the way I see it. I’d totally watch such a movie as well incidentally. And yeah, how come there isn’t a Starfox movie yet? You would think those rights would have been auctioned off long ago.
Anyway, where was I? Oh right, this is a t-shirt design on Threadless, a site that for the life of me, I still can’t wrap my head around. What’s with this bidding and voting crap? I want to BUY it. I want to GIVE you MONEY. Why are you making this so hard? Ugh, wake me up when the votes are tallied or the auction is over or whatever.
Not to offend, but…lol… do you really think of a Star Fox movie even when Shigeru Miyamoto or Nintendo don’t really care about this old-but-good franchise to make A NEW SINGLE game. On the other hand great t-shirt design.
I agree I’m not fond of the Threadless model. What they do is take submissions of designs from artists who lack the means to produce the shirts, which are voted on by site users. This is done so they dont waste resources printing a run of shirts that isnt popular, especially when basing it on internet gags. Knew a guy who screened “Dont Taze Me Bro” and “Jeep Brah” shirts because of message board chatter only to have stacks of them that no one bought. Plus they like the idea of things being low run and rare. Adds that “we’re so exclusive” satisfaction to people who got in on the initial run.
When I was playing After Burner Climax, part of me kept thinking how nasty a new Star Fox game could be.
