Starcraft Goes RPG with Final Fantasy 0.2

I really don’t think most of us have any idea how deep the Starcraft map editor can really go in this new version, but already we’re seeing a host of really creative games from users that go far beyond typical RTS fare.

The latest one worth taking a look at is called Final Fantasy 0.2, and it turns Starcraft into a FF-like RPG with turn based combat. According to the creator, the full game will have its own characters and storyline, and be about two hours long.

I’m waiting for the first mod to turn Starcraft into essentially Diablo. Now THAT I would get excited about.
