A Preview for March Madness 2017

Have you ever sat down and watched American college basketball before? It’s often an incredible experience – sometimes because of the talent on the court, and always because of the number of people who pack into arenas to take in the games.

The very biggest moment of the year for US college basketball teams arrives in March, when the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament tips off in front of millions of viewers across the country.

Sunday Selection (March 12th) sees the official basketball panel announce which 68 teams will compete in the year’s tournament, and from this moment on, bookies and betting sites are bombarded by calls and clicks as fans scramble to place wagers on the team they fancy.

Before the beginning of the competition, basketball fans also draw up “brackets” in an attempt to hedge their bets, so to speak. This involves the creation of a chart that doubles as a calculations table. By matching certain teams against one another and predicting the winners, fans can attempt to determine which college side is going to go the whole way and pick up the coveted March Madness trophy.

The only problem is, nobody has any idea who’s going to win it this year.

The 78th edition of March Madness is being touted by some as the most unpredictable in the competition’s long and illustrious history, with no clear favorite emerging during the course of a turbulent regular season.

The likes of the UCLA Bruins (who have seen 92 of their players move on to the NBA), the Duke Blue Devils and the Kentucky Wildcats are ordinarily tipped to be there or thereabouts come the tournament’s climax, but each has been found wanting in several games during the course of this year’s campaign. Pretty much every team has a chance.

With March Madness 2017 now tantalizingly close, you might be thinking about placing a few bets on the upcoming 78th NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. Of course, there’s no escaping the fly in the ointment – the fact that this year’s series is proving utterly impossible to predict. Even the pros are having a tough time working out who will triumph, and when a tournament is up in the air as much as this one, turning to lucky charms is as good a move as any.

This infographic from Cool Cat Casino actually features all the luckiest players and teams according to the Chinese Zodiac. This online gambling site has correlated all the necessary data to compose a table of the stars and sides to watch out for during March Madness 2017. Lady Luck is supposedly set to smile down on these guys, so this table could be worth consulting if you fancy winning a fistful of dollars on America’s biggest college basketball tournament during spring.

March Madness 2017 is guaranteed to produce some absolutely captivating action, and it’s definitely worth tuning in to Sunday Selection on March 12th so that you can get involved with the tournament right from the very beginning.
