Netflix Streaming Movie of the Week: Headhunters

I’ve been hunting through my Netflix Instant selection again, and I’ve been surprised to find a number of highly recommended movies that I didn’t have to go and pirate instead. Hooray!

One of them is Headhunters, a Norwegian film about an art thief who goes after the wrong target. The main character is Roger, the shrimpy guy on the right, married to Diana, the hot girl on the left. In the middle yep, that’s Jaime Lannister himself, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, playing Clas Greve, also known as “the guy you shouldn’t have f***ed with.”

You start out hating the sleazeball Roger, but the film evolves and you end up sympathizing with him. You honestly will have no idea where the movie is going, but suffice to say it’s about a hell of a lot more than just art thievery. Check it out for yourself this week if you get a chance.

  1. Great Movie. Saw it a few weeks back. Below is my must watch gritty (Korean) movies on Netflix. Seriously, they make the best Quentin Tarantino movie look like Teletubbies.

    I Saw the Devil
    Yellow Sea
    War of Arrows
    Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
    The Man from Nowhere
    No Mercy

    Honorable mentions

    13 Assassins
    Goemon

These movies start slow, but give it 20 minutes, just wow.
