Gamers, Get Ready For “The Postman’s Creed” (Comic)

There is never a shortage of fandom pages that makes gags, memes, and other funny gimmicks when it comes to our favorite media, whether it be film, television series, or video games. Many of these fans even go so far as to create spinoff comics of their favorite games and films to give others on the web a giggle or two. Such is the case of the comic that we have just encountered, which is being called ‘The Postman’s Creed’, and is a truly clever play on words, sounding like the most epic video game to date. You can see the comic strip for yourself, which we have posted below:

Although not everyone is familiar with it word for word, everyone has heard bits of it every now and again. The common phrase “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”, has become an association and motto, if you will, with the United States Postal Service for many years now. Their creed, as many would refer to it ( and as we are seeing in this clever comic strip), makes it appear as an epic and treacherous creed to make the beginnings of a video game, centering around an adventurer of a postman, doing everything in his power to make his rounds, and deliver the mail right on schedule. We have to say that it truly does make the job seem as crazy and adventurous, but it is all in the eyes of the beholder, right?
