Mario Themed Roomba Covers Are the Best Useless Invention Ever

Custom Character Roombas (for SUPER iam8bit) from iam8bit Productions on Vimeo.

Oh my god, this is an idea so amazing I can’t believe no one thought of it until now. Kelice Penney has made a series of Mario themed Roomba covers. What does that mean? Outside of the obvious pun of the “Goomba Roomba,” there are also ones for red and green shells, meaning they slide around just like in the game. And there’s a little octopus guy whose name I can’t remember, but should be a Bomb-omb instead.

This really only is cool in video form, so watch above to see the covers in action. I don’t think you can actually buy these, which is a tragedy.

The octopus is “Octorok” from Legend of Zeld. You’re right, it should be a Bob-omb instead.
