Jessica Nigri Becomes Dovahkiin

She’s probably the most eye-catching Western cosplayer out there, and Jessica Nigri has graduated from Pokemon to a whole host of other video game themed costumes over the past few years. We compiled her best work in a gallery here, but now it’s time for an update with her latest get-up.

There’s very little sexiness to be found in Skyrim, but somehow, some way Nigri makes it work with her fur and iron Dovahkiin get up. She’s got a rather good photoshoot in the outfit courtesy of 12 North, and regardless of gender, it’s the best Skyrim shoot and costume I’ve seen so far. Even if she does have a light armor skill of zero.

  1. Nicely done, but I have to admit, pretty much all female cosplayers are starting to look all the same. It’s always some variation of, “take something popular/sexy, insert cleavage, repeat.” The Final Fantasy girls from a few days ago were pretty sweet, and the Seung Mina(?) From a few days ago were cool yoo. Classy, interesting, and pretty in one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of cleavage, but cosplay does not have to automatically mean trashy, no matter how detailed the miniskirt.

  2. I don’t know about Hipster, but yeah. Personally, if a character is supposed to be hot, I say go for it!! It just seems like for every Samus cosplayed, there’s 100 “sexy” costumes created and featured for the sole purpose if catching boy’s, (and some girl’s) eyes. Which is fine. I just like to see costumes that make me say, “damn, that’s well done!!”. As an example, at last year’s Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World, there was a phenomenal Tie Fighter Pilot. Badass costume all around. Then the helmet came off, and it was a woman!! I was floored!! Such a nice change from seeing metal bikini Leias, stormtroopers with chesty armor, and Booba Fetts.

  3. Wait, there’s very little sexiness in Skyrim? I mean, sure, if your only idea of sexy is tits, but I’d assume that the M on the box means twelve-year olds aren’t playing.

  4. I’m not sorry when I say this: there’s just nothing special here. Jessica Nigri is just another in a drawn out line of hacks who co-opted the cosplay industry because they couldn’t make it in any of the real modeling industry. Real people making real costumes on their own should be the ones celebrated for their cosplay acumen, not these tawdry looking trollops who pushed a pair of big boobs in front of a lens. I want to see you real fans with real costumes being put in the limelight.

  5. What exactly does the modelling industry have to do with anything? She’s a gamer, she’s a cosplayer who makes her own outfits, and she happens to be good at it and hot all in one. There is no “industry” or “career” here, she does it because she likes it, like all cosplayers do. And there ARE armor sets in the game that look just like this, so lighten up jerk.

  6. Ok, so I just looked at the rest of her pics elsewhere, and I have a confession. I’m even LESS impressed than I originally thought. So she’s an attractivish blonde with a chest. And…? Practically everything else she wears is some variation of bikini or skimpy. Where’s the talent in that? Show me something of hers that takes skill, I may be more impressed. Until then, she’s just another girl in a swimsuit. The one concession I’ll give is that I like her helmet.
