Guy Saves up Bottlecaps for 7.5 years to Pay for Fallout 4

Fallout-4

As Fallout 4 was just recently announced, people are undoubtedly extremely excited for the game. Bethesda takes a long time to put out games, and considering Fallout 3 came out in 2008, anticipation for this game has been mounting for some time. So much so that user GatorMacheteJr has been saving up bottle caps for the game for seven and a half years. He exclaims that these bottle caps came from all the beer he drank in college and then graduate school. In total there are 11.2 pounds of bottle caps. He proceeded to box them up and then ship them to Bethesda with a note saying:

“If it’s not already obvious, I’m a pretty big fan of the series. Needless to say, I got pretty excited when I started seeing more and more about Fallout 4. I’ve also noticed that you’re now acceptingpreorders. I only saw prices listed in pre-war dollars, and I wasn’t exactly sure what the exchange-rate is these days, so I went ahead and sent everything I’ve been able to save since I played Fallout 3 for the first time. Using my bathroom scale and a number I found on Wikipedia, I’m thinking this is somewhere in the range of 2,240 caps. That ought to cover it, right? If caps are not an acceptable form of payment, let me know and I’m sure we can work something out. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and here’s hoping 7.5 years worth of bottle cap hoarding doesn’t just end up in the Bethesda trash can.”
