Wolverine Leaks onto the Internet Sans Special Effects

As of a few hours ago 75,000 people already have a copy of Wolverine (yeah, yeah X-Men Origins: Wolverine) on their computer. An unfinished version of the film was leaked onto the internet, and most definitely will have Fox suing mad.

The film is reported to be of great quality, but without any special effects, which you can imagine is probably a pretty decent chunk of the movie. A watermark on the video indicates it may have come from special effects firm, Rising Sun Pictures, but that isn’t confirmed.

I understand the appeal of wanting to see a movie early, but I can’t get behind the idea of watching a bootlegged, special effect-less version of Wolverine when I could just wait a month to see the real thing. Then again I don’t understand why people were downloading The Dark Knight shot on a cell phone cam, so what do I know?

And no, this is not an April Fool’s joke, the torrent is here, if you really feel like watching Wolverine for its riveting dialog.
