Unreality Readers are Good at Cosplay Too

I get reader submissions for content every day, but usually they’re pointing me in the direction of something elsewhere on the internet, not submitting their own creations.

But this weekend David sent me a note saying that he’d been tuning in for quite a while, and he just now realized that I may be interested in some cosplay he and his girlfriend have done over the years. After taking a look at the pictures, I said “yup, that’s Unreality” and here we are.

The duo has three different universes featured here, first Rufio and a Lost Boy from Hook, Mario and Yoshi from Mario Kart and Kung Lao and Jade from Mortal Kombat. All are very well done, and these guys absolutely deserved their own post here.

So let this be a lesson to you, if you have anything self-created and awesome you’d like to share with me, feel free to send it over to paul@unrealitymag.com. I can’t promise you’ll get your own post like this, but it’s theoretically possible!

And Mortal Kombat Breakdancing

  • Mr Cinema

    I’ll be in my bunk.

  • J5

    Awesome, although a note to Dave, watch out for Goro, the dude’s trying to scam on your girl.

    Might I recommend repeatedly jump kicking him? Worked in the game….

  • Meh

    Most of these are fairly average/below-average cosplay costumes in terms of quality (except Yoshi). The only redeeming factor is that they’ve got an attractive girl in a revealing outfit. Seriously most of these outfits are pieces of cardboard that have been colored with markers. Kudos to them for their hard work though.

  • Drester

    Wow that’s really awesome. Breakdancing is the last thing I would expect at a cosplay convention. You’ve got some skills

    btw. Me like lady mario

    @Mr Cinema

    Well played.

  • Bandit

    Female Sub Zero FTW!!!
