The Most Impressive (and Ridiculous) Halo: Reach Kills So Far

Halo: Reach has been out for less than a week, but it seems to have (predictably) taken the video game world by storm.  Long lines that wrap around city blocks are usually reserved for 3-D James Cameron movies and Harry Potter books, but the guys over at Bungie have gotten gamers worked up into a frenzy with the release of the final game in the Halo series.  While there are some new features and concepts introduced to Halo: Reach’s campaign mode, most people (at least the ones I know) go crazy for Halo due to the multiplayer.  After all, if you can’t die at the hands of a racist, homophobic 14-year-old playing online, then what’s the point?

There are sure to be hundreds of insane, ridiculous, amazing, stupefying, uncanny, impossible, sick, 1337, phenomenal kills in games of Halo: Reach, but here are 10 that stand out from the rest so far.  If you’ve got any nuts ones, post the link and if they’re cool enough, I’ll post them with the rest.

Airborne assassination:

A sick triple kill:

Getting lucky with a sticky grenade:

Ridiculous overkill:

Ridiculous infection kill:

Unlucky suicide:

Triple spawn kill:

Crazy falling assassination:

Insane flying snipe:

So much for reinforcements:

Don’t have video, but I don’t recommend using the jetpack while in an elevator unless you are really depressed and want to kill yourself.

  • Cody

A lot of the time when I look at one of the articles on this site lately there’s this japanese guy that talks for some add, but there’s no ad or video on the page to turn it off. Really annoying.

Eh, the overkill with the sniper rifle was the only one I was impressed with. I’ve done better than the other videos 😉

I’ll have to pick up reach tonight I think. I thought I could go without buying it. But it’s proving difficult.

      I need video proof, Matt!

The triple sniper kill is the best one, but I also thought the flying snipe was pretty insane.

I’ve got something you might be interested in:

This isn’t exactly a “kill”, but somebody does die as a result of a strange happening. This happened during the campaign and is probably the strangest glitch I’ve come across as of yet. I’ll let you watch the video to see what goes down 😉

Eh, kinda neat, but nothing really that new from previous Halo vids. Also, I’m with Cody, what’s with the autorun videos in the subpages? I suddenly have random audio spewing out until I find and turn off the vid.
