Howl’s Moving Castle in Shockingly Good Papercraft Form

If you’re not a fan of Hayao Miyazaki’s films, you should be. The man has directed animated classics like Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro.

Howl’s Moving Castle is another one of his great works, albeit a few notches down the ladder for me. At least it’s not Ponyo though. Anyway, the film centers around a giant mechanical moving castle which you can see above.

Some intrepid fan decided to make the thing ENTIRELY out of paper, making it one of the most ambitious papercraft projects I’ve ever seen. Check out all the details and angles of it below.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in, but if you have an actual artist, let me know.
